Use tinyposter from ChatGPT

Three ways in. The easiest takes about 60 seconds — open our hosted Custom GPT, paste your token, post.

Which describes you?

Tap the path that fits your situation. Only that walkthrough opens below — no scrolling past options you don't need.

What this is
We've published a Custom GPT called tinyposter. You open it, ChatGPT asks for an API key the first time you use it, you paste your tp_… token, and it remembers it. No GPT builder, no OpenAPI URL, no settings. (No tinyposter account yet? The GPT will walk you through the 60-second signup before it does anything else.)
  1. 01

    Get a tinyposter token

A token is like a password. ChatGPT sends it to tinyposter on every call. It starts with tp_.

    1. Open your tokens page.
    2. Click Create token. Name it “ChatGPT” so you remember.
    3. Copy the full token. It only shows once.
    Keep this token private
Anyone with this token can post for you. Treat it like a password. If it ever leaks, just go back to the tokens page and revoke it.
  2. 02

    Open the tinyposter GPT

    One click and you're there.

    Open tinyposter in ChatGPT →
  3. 03

    Paste your token

Send any message that asks the GPT to do something — for example, What social accounts am I connected to? ChatGPT will pop up an Authentication required sheet asking for your API key. Paste your tp_… token and click Save. ChatGPT remembers it for you.

    One-time
You only paste it once. Future chats with the GPT just work. If you ever want to swap tokens, click the GPT's name at the top of the chat and reset the auth.
  4. 04

    Try it

    Now ask:

    text
Post "hello from ChatGPT" to my Twitter using tinyposter.

ChatGPT will ask permission the first time. Allow it. The post goes live in about a minute.

Troubleshooting

ChatGPT didn't ask me for a token

Make sure you sent a message that actually triggers a tinyposter action (asking it to post or list accounts). Pure conversation won't prompt for auth. If you sent an action and still nothing happened, click the GPT's name → Reset, then try again.

It says my token is invalid

Tokens start with tp_ and are case-sensitive. Re-create one at your tokens page, paste the entire string (no quotes, no trailing space), and try again.

It posts but nothing shows up on my account

Posts publish about a minute after you confirm. Check your calendar — if the status is failed, it will show the reason. Most failures come from a disconnected platform; reconnect on accounts.

It says "platform_not_connected"

You asked it to post somewhere you haven't hooked up yet. Go to accounts and connect that platform.

Things you can ask it

  • “Post ‘Friday recap incoming’ to Twitter and LinkedIn.”
  • “Schedule a Threads post for Sunday at 9am ET that says...”
  • “What's on my schedule next week?”
  • “Cancel the post I made Monday.”
  • “How many posts do I have left this month?”
  • “Write me a tweet about my new product, then post it to X and Bluesky.”
